About us
Who are Citizens Advice Eastleigh?
We belong to the wider Citizens Advice network
Citizens Advice represents a network of organisations that assist people with legal, debt, consumer, housing and other problems in the United Kingdom.
Citizens Advice Eastleigh is an independent charity and part of the wider Citizens Advice Network.
We'll support anyone who approaches us, no matter who they are or what their problem is.
Our mission is to help people solve their problems
Citizens Advice Eastleigh tries to help everyone find a way forward, whatever problem they face, and to the best of our ability.
As members of the Citizens Advice network, we also share the aims of that service:
- We provide the advice people need for the problems they face.
- We help drive improvements in the policies and practices that affect people’s live.
We provide a service which people can rely on because we're independent and totally impartial.
We deliver positive social change across Eastleigh
Citizens Advice Eastleigh helps thousands of Eastleigh residents every year, across 4 locations in our Borough.
We speak up for our clients, drawing on our combined knowledge to show other organisations how they could make things better for people (and often making savings to the public purse in the process).
We've got decades of experience helping people in poverty
An intervention from Citizens Advice Eastleigh usually makes a big difference to our clients.
We can draw on decades of successful case studies to demonstrate our continued value to the community.
We're particularly experienced at helping people face issues around poverty, financial hardship, health inequalities, and mental health.
90% of our clients say they would recommend our services to family & friends
Why not volunteer with us?
Citizens Advice Eastleigh is an independent charity so relies on the generosity of local volunteers to run most of our services.
